Our room was beautifully decorated and had 1 king size bed. The best possible location was short walk from Natural History Museum of Basel.

Central location, not too far away from Messeplatz. And near to shops, restaurants and the riverside and the main square in the middle of shops and restaurants and the centre of Basel. Had a twin room with AC as well as quality linen.

The breakfast offered a great selection of options and was very good. The hotel was in a central location close to city center.

Modern and fairly clean place, the rooms are nice modern and nicely decorated. It has best possible and convenient location for visiting Marktplatz. The outdoor restaurant in the hotel is lovely, has excellent dishes. Nothing too much trouble, thank you for an outstanding stay...

Brand-new hotel with very professional staff. Central location in the centre of Basel. For tea or coffee visit Cafe Mock nearby. Very very good breakfast — good choice of meals.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this specialbrand-new hotel. Its location was indeed best possible and only 5 minutes walk from Rathaus Basel Town Hall. The area was lovely right by important sites, gracious, helpful staff, beautiful, modern rooms and museums, restaurants and the river. There was a fabulous bar and excellent food at the outdoor restaurant. The service here was excellent.

I had a small problem in my room upon arrival, but the staff at Hotel Marthof Basel handled it perfectly. They were professional, helpful, and kind throughout my entire stay. The building and interior design have a charming 50s-revisited style, and my room was spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel is also excellent, right in the center of the city. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, and I also enjoyed dining at the nice restaurant on the corner of the square. The beds were comfy, and the Molton Brown body and hair products provided were great.

The hotel is fairly clean, nestled in a lovely building with an outdoor restaurant. It has perfect, excellent setting, just off cruise ship and shops and restaurants. Old Town Grossbasel district deserves your time and attention. Nothing too much trouble, I would come there again.
